# Course Brand Approve

> POST /courses/{id}/brand/approve (#294/#296): approve the course's
bound auto_derived preset's brand from the COURSE surface (a client
working from the course object never has to discover the underlying
preset id). Delegates to _apply_brand_approval verbatim (A20) -- same
approve + resume + webhook behavior as POST /presets/{id}/brand/approve.
Idempotent (resume_bound_course_after_brand's own idempotency); NOT gated
on the course's current status -- the brand asset is the gate, not the
course's (possibly clobbered, #298) status column.
