# Course Brand Edits

> POST /courses/{id}/brand/edits (#301): dotted-path set/delete edits
against the course's bound auto_derived preset's brand kit, from the
COURSE surface (mirrors /brand and /brand/approve above -- a client
working from the course object never has to discover the underlying
preset id). #291: a URL-derived palette is frequently WRONG, not merely
low-confidence, so approve-only leaves it unfixable without finding the
hidden preset; this closes that gap. Same dotted-path set/delete shape
as POST /presets/{id}/brand/edits; resolves the bound preset here, then
delegates the actual content mutation to that route's own handler
(b2b.routes.preset_setup._make_edits('brand')) so the set/delete
traversal is defined exactly once.
