# Course Brand Read

> GET /courses/{id}/brand (#294/#296): the ReviewableArtifact shape for
the course's bound auto_derived preset's brand -- the honest surface for
the "invisible hold" half of the 2026-08-27 incident (status showed
'generating', the pending brand was unreachable from the course object).
404 no-disclosure when the course has no preset, the preset is not
auto_derived, or no brand has been gathered yet.
